Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church
Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church was dedicated on December 3, 1985. Until that time, it was first a mission of St. Joseph, Waipahu and later, St. John Apostle & Evangelist in Mililani. Parishioners met in homes, under a tent, and in a warehouse until the parish was finally established and the church was built.
Today we are a diverse, vibrant, and growing Roman Catholic parish serving the Waipio-Waikele community. All who seek the love and mercy of God are welcome here. In our company, we pray that you will experience the Lord's own welcome and the peace and new life that He alone can give.
New Parish Cremation Columbaria Project
We are building new Cremation Columbaria options at our parish to meet the end-of-life needs in our community. As a ministry of the Diocese, Hawaii Catholic Cemeteries is dedicated to providing education, support, and professional services to our community. Founded in faith, and rich in our traditions, we strive to serve our family's needs now and for generations to come.
- New cremation burial options as a final resting place for family members, here at our Church where families worship.
- Parishioners can now bring cremated remains of loved ones or plan in advance for their own end-of-life cremation burial options at our parish, owned in perpetuity by the Diocese of Honolulu.
- The Diocese Cemetery Service: Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Service of the Diocese of Honolulu will professionally care for and manage the Columbaria.
